The ancient shtetl and Jewish cemetery was flooded by the Soviet project of Kauno Marios. Before that some remains were transferred to Kaunas Aleksotas Jewish cemetery in 1958.
There is no sign of the town neither the cemetery.

Senosios žydų kapinės ir senoji Rumšiškių gyvenvietė užtvindyta rengiant Kauno Marių projektą. Žinoma, jog dalis palaidojimų perkelta į Kauno Aleksoto žydų kapines 1958 m.
